Signature Variants
SIU Logo Mark without the Word Carbondale
USAGE:
- Design Element
Vertical Wordmark
USAGE:
- Embroidery
- Merchandising
- For narrow spaces
Horizontal Wordmark
USAGE:
- Merchandising
- For small items (pens, pencils)
These variants of the signature system are for special use only, and approval of the University Communications and Marketing office is required for use of the vertical wordmark and the horizontal wordmark.
The SIU logomark (without the word Carbondale) can be used as a design element. It must be used in close proximity to the full SIU logomark or the full signature. (See SIU Logomark (without Carbondale) as Design Element page for examples.)
The vertical wordmark is used for embroidery or in very narrow spaces. It also must be used in close proximity to the full SIU logomark or the full signature. (See Apparel and Name tags page for an example.)
The horizontal wordmark is for use on very small items (½” deep or smaller) such as pens and pencils. It can be used without the full logo in close proximity, and it can be maroon, black or white. Gold metallic ink and foiling can be used for premium items, with prior approval from University Communications. (See the Merchandise page for examples.)
